_sound & robotics workshop instructor/volunteer, max for live, arduino
As part of Eu Vara Codez, a national educational summer camp dedicated to creative technology and digital literacy, I volunteered as a formator (instructor) teaching Arduino programming for sound and music technology to students aged 15–18.
Throughout the camp, I guided participants in creating interactive sound-based projects using Arduino Uno R3, DFPlayer Mini MP3 modules, PAM8403 amplifiers, and 3W mini speakers, alongside various sensors — infrared, ultrasonic, touch, vibration, sound, humidity, and laser that triggered sound events. Together, we designed and programmed an array of robots capable of carrying and arranging colored cubes across a playing board — culminating in a collaborative “robot show” integrating movement, music, and live sound design.
I also introduced students to music production workflows in Ableton Live, ESP32–WiFi pairing with Max/MSP, and the fundamentals of how sound and technology intersect in contemporary music creation.
Beyond teaching, I supported the campers’ overall experience by helping organize and lead non-technical activities, such as treasure hunts, campfire building, and team challenges — fostering collaboration, curiosity, and creative confidence.
